Faceless instagram accounts are just a way for you to reach an audience (without ever having to wash your hair – winning). They’re not new or revolutionary, they’ve just picked up steam because a LOT of people have realised it’s very easy to make money with them.
But the real question is, how? How do faceless instagram accounts actually make money? If you’re on the faceless marketing wavelength, you’ll have seen a LOT of people talking about how much they’ve made, but not too many people telling you how they’ve made it.
Today that changes. Here are the four main streams of income that make faceless marketing so lucrative.
How To Make Money With A Faceless Instagram Account
1. SELLING A COURSE WITH MRR
If you see someone shouting about earning $12,389 in a single day or something ridiculous – I’m 99.98987% sure they are selling one of three MRR courses for faceless marketing. Roadmap to Riches, Simply Passive or The Ultimate Branding Course. Each of these are digital marketing courses that come with master resell rights (MRR). What this means is that after you pay for the course, you then have the rights to sell it as a distributor. You can set your own value, as long as it isn’t less than what you paid for it, and sell as many times as you want. If you have an audience that trusts you, this adds up QUICKLY.
Think about it… if each of these courses are around $500, 5 sales would a monthly salary.
But, what are the courses?
- Simply Passive: Simply Passive is a course designed to teach ordinary people how to make purpose-driven & sustainable passive income. It’s pretty entry level but includes 45 videos with neutral branding & aesthetic. 45+ vides included. Easy & straightforward on-ramp for beginners to learn how to go from A-Z with digital marketing.

Similarly to courses with MRR, digital products with MRR give you an additional stream of income that tends to be a much easier sell than a comprehensive course. $35 for an eBook may be a lot more appealing to your audience than a $497 course. Or rather, do-able. For many creators, they start faceless marketing because of a frustration with money, or lack-there of. For a lot of people spending $497 on a course is a non-starter at their point in their current journey. This is where digital products come in.
So, what can you sell? The answer is a lot. Most creators are selling the freebies that come with the bigger digital courses or creating their own. The important part here is weeding out the good from the bad. A lot of people sell a lot of bad things, and this will have a real impact on your audience’s ability to trust you.

3. SELLING YOUR OWN DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Really know your stuff? You can also create your own digital products and sell those.
The best part of your own products is that it’s kind of passive. Once you’ve made it once, you can sell it a thousand times without having to put in any extra work on the product itself. I say kind of as you’ll still to advertise them, but you would be doing that anyway with a course or someone elses products.
For 9 out of 10 digital products, you can create these for free on Canva or using Adobe software if you want to get really fancy.
You’ll then sell your products through a Stan store or Flodesk link in bio page. These are super easy to set up and you don’t need a website. It’ll cost around $30 per month (give or take) and they’ll deliver the product straight to the customers inbox.
4. AFFILIATE INCOME
Ah, my favorite.
As you build an audience, selling a $497 guide or even having people part with $30 for your wisdom in PDF form isn’t always as easy as you think. If you’re just getting started, the easiest way to monetize is with affiliate links. This means advertising products or services and getting a kick back for every sale you make.
For example, Flodesk. Flodesk is how you set up a beautiful ‘link in bio’ page and build an email list so is really powerful for faceless marketers. Affiliates can offer a free month trial for the service. If I send you towards the free trial, I get $19. You as the user get a free month of a product they actually want.
